Several
events thrown this past year in Dizzywood focused on helping others and the environment. In addition to being fun, these events helped to teach and encourage kids to get involved in charitable organizations.
In the honor of Earth Day Dizzywood players planted trees. Wildwood Forest had recently been leveled by the evil Emperor Withering and his chopbots.

Players were eager to lend a helping hand and reclaim this natural resource. Each player was given seeds upon signing into Dizzywood, so everyone had a chance to participate.
Dizzywood actually partnered with the
Arbor Day Foundation so that for every tree planted in Dizzywood a real tree would be planted on earth. Players were excited that their online charity made a lasting affect in the real world. Soon Wildwood Glen flourished once again!
To celebrate their efforts Dizzywood players gathered in Gilbert Square East. They were greeted by a new character Terra Greene.

Terra tries to give back to the environment by cleaning up beaches, and organizing recycling drives. As you can imagine Terra was really excited about the annual Earth Day event and showed it by giving out free Globe Hat to all the players who joined her at the party.
In March, not too long before Earth Day, a terrible rain storm hit Skyland. This natural disaster left many homes in the area ruined. Luckily Dizzywood had many extra building supplies from the recent construction of Canal City Road. Players collected these supplies and brought them to Pilot Higgins who then loaded up his airship and headed to Skytown. With all the players help this unfortunate event was able to easily be mended.
The Bake Sale during Spring Fling was a fun way to raise money for others in need. All the proceeds from this event went to less fortunate members of Dizzywood. Read more about other Spring Fling
events on my other blog post.
All of these events proved to be a great way for players to help others while getting involved in the game.
